Neurologist - subspecialist in neuroimmunology

She graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 1995. She started her working at Clinical Hospital Sveti Duh, where she completed her residency in neurology in 2005.

Since 2005, she has been employed as a neurology specialist at the Division for Neuroimmunology of the Central Nervous System, Referral Center for Demyelinating Diseases of the Central Nervous System , Department of Neurology, University Hospital Center Zagreb.

During the past 20 years, she has gained experience in all areas of neurology, especially in demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, which mostly includes patients with multiple sclerosis, and in 2019 she was recognized as a subspecialist in neuroimmunology.

From 2011-2016, she was Head of the Division for Demyelinating Diseases and Ataxia, where patients with demyelinating diseases, balance disorders, and vertigo were treated, and from 2022 she was Head of the Laboratory for Ultrasound Diagnostics of the Department of Neurology, University Hospital Center Zagreb.

She completed the post-graduate course: "Doppler Sonography of Intracranial Circulation", "Color Doppler in the examination of Extracranial Cerebral Circulation" and "Acupuncture" and since then has been regularly attending numerous domestic and foreign courses and congresses.

She was trained in sleep medicine at the Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders, University Psychiatric Hospital Vrapče and passed the European Society for Sleep Research (ESRS) exam and obtained the title of somnologist - expert in sleep medicine.

She actively participated in domestic and international professional meetings and courses and authored a number of scientific papers in both professional domestic and foreign journals. She is a co-author of several chapters in the teaching texts of university textbooks. She participated as a collaborator in the work of several scientific research projects of the Ministry of Science and the
Croatian Science Foundation.

She obtained her Master of Science degree in 2005 at the Faculty of Science at the University of Zagreb, and her PhD in 2011 at the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb.

She has held the title primarius since 2016. She was awarded the scientific title of scientific associate in 2023. Since 2005, she has been teaching at the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb, and in 2022 she was named an associate professor.

She is a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Croatian Medical Association, and the
Croatian Neurological Society and European Sleep Research Society.
